Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon Refresh

Recently I shared I got a new 27' monitor. I decided to do some tinkering around with Linux Mint 17. I wanted the desktop to honor its Linux base but also embrace its reliance on the cloud.

The vast number of apps I use in +Linux Mint are not traditional Linux applications but Chrome Apps. In fact, the following video is take 2, since the first attempt used Kazam which froze Cinnamon and ended in Cntr - Alt - Backspace. In take 2, I used the Chrome App Techsmith SnagIt for Chrome.
