Yubico Two Factor Authorization

Recently Chrome and Chrome OS implemented support for security keys with two factor authorization. Yesterday I received my +Yubico from Amazon and was left with that now what feeling. +James Welbes was nice enough to point me in the right direction. This post and video will hopefully demonstrate how simple two factor can be with Yubico.

I have been using Two Factor for about a year now. I am allowed to register "trusted computers", but other than that when I log on I am sent a text message of a code I must input prior to log on. The Yubico replaces the need to put in a code, and instead I simply insert the key and press the gold disk.

The Yubico will not be too useful on your registered trusted computers, but when you are using a shared or public computer it can be a life saver. After you put in your password, you simply insert your Yubico security key to finsh the log on process.
