Digitizing Worksheets

My first instinct is always digital first. Yet, there are times when a teacher might have a favorite paper worksheet they would like to digitize so students can complete it on a computer or tablet.

One simple way to accomplish this is using Google Slides. Rather than simply inserting a jpg into a slide outright, add it as a background. This way the jpg won't get accidently moved or deleted.

Then all you need to do is insert a text box anywhere a student would write on a printed worksheet. The student would then simply click and insert the required text.

I could see this as a creative way to digitize a packet for homework, or differentiation.
