GAfE Activities

GAfE refers to Google Apps for Education. In other words, Google Documents, Google Sheets, Google Forms, Google Slides, and Google Drawings.

As schools get Chromebooks and large screens for whole class viewing, Google Apps will become more of a staple for student learning.

Google Slides can be used for whole class demonstration or collaborative research projects. Google Drawings can add interactivity to sorting, counting, or organizing information which traditionally would have been a worksheet or cut and paste activity. Google Sheets offers an opportunity to use real life data and have it instantly visualized in a graph for additional intepretation.  Lastly, Google Documents can be used for creating stories and producing research with opportunities for collaboration and on the spot teacher and peer feedback.
